FAQs

Will you visit my school/library/event?

Yes, I love connecting with students and readers! Contact me here for rates and availability.

Where can I buy your books?

They are available wherever books are sold! Check out my book pages here for links to a few of the major retailers, or search directly on the website of your preferred retailer. You can also check with your local independent bookstore—even if they don't have them in stock in the store, they should be able to order them for you (and as an added bonus, you're also supporting your community by buying locally!).

I love your books but can't buy a copy right now. Are there other ways I can show my support?

Of course! I can't buy every book I would like to, either :) There are lots of *free* ways you can show your support for your favorite authors, including checking their books out from your local library (and requesting that your library carry them if they aren't yet available there), leaving a kind review on Amazon, Goodreads, etc., or telling your friends or family about the books.

Do you sell prints of your illustrations?

No, I don't have a print shop at this time.

I wrote a children's book. How do I get it published?

There are different paths to publication. To learn more about how to get published and what path may be right for you and your story, I suggest checking out The Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) here. You'll find a wealth of information to help you on your way, as well as a wonderful and welcoming community of published and pre-published authors and illustrators.

I wrote a children's book. Will you illustrate it?

For traditionally published books, the publisher will match your manuscript with an illustrator once it has been acquired—no need for you to worry about it! For self-published books, you usually have to hire an illustrator yourself. The Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators has an illustrator gallery here where you can search for members who are available for these projects, which can be a great place to start your search.

I'm currently not available to take on self-published projects. For traditionally published project inquiries, you can get in touch with my agent Adria at KT Literary by emailing adria@ktliterary.com.
